兄弟阋于墙，外御其侮

发音 xiōng dì xì yú qiáng，wài yù qí wǔ  

释义 阋：争吵；墙：门屏。兄弟们虽然在家里争吵，但能一致抵御外人的欺侮。比喻内部虽有分歧，但能团结起来对付外来的侵略。  

出处 《诗经·小雅·常棣》：“兄弟阋于墙，外御其侮。”

Borthers may quarrel inside the wall, but they will oppose insult from outside.
