BlackBerry Error 523 Solution

Today I  tried to install a Japanese Input Method on BlackBerry Storm 9000 instead on BlackBerry Curve 8320.

I want to input Japanese on my 8320, so I did it. Install handled software of 9000, select and copy the cods about Japanese, then I found a name of ‘net_bb_font_Japanese’, which size is too larger than the one in 8320. No backup the device data, directly install this cod by winload.

But the device display ‘error 523’ after reset.

I checked internet to find solution, somebody says when the device reboot, connect to device management, choose the software which mistake installed and remove it. I did as that but nothing changed, because I can’t find the ‘net_bb_font_Japanese.cod’!

Then I thought maybe I can install the same name cod of 8320 to replace it. I found the same name cod under the 8320 folder and install it by winload.

The device reset after installed.

Nothing happened. It worked!
